What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on June 24, 2021.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 3, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,097.16 for rent arrears and application fees. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 3, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest starting August 4, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by August 3, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
