What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Landlord requiring possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation. The Landlord served a valid N12 Notice on the Tenant.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 24, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $67.29 per day for compensation for use of the unit from October 23, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the unit is not vacated by October 24, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for enforcement.
