What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to non-payment of rent and alleged illegal drug activity in the rental unit. The Landlords' request to expedite the hearing was granted based on concerns about traffic to and from the unit and other tenants being afraid. Only the Landlords attended the hearing.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 15, 2021. The Tenant must pay $7,727.70 to the Landlords, which includes rent arrears, compensation, and application costs, less the rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 15, 2021, the Landlords may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
