What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenants due to allegations of operating a salon business from the property, denying the Landlord access to inspect the property, and a desire to not renew the lease. However, the N8 notice served to the Tenants failed to properly identify a reason for service, and the Landlord used the wrong notice form to address the issues.
The ruling
The Landlord's application is dismissed as the N8 notice served to the Tenants was invalid on its face.
