What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's substantial interference with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord alleged multiple incidents of excessive noise, aggression, and interference with other tenants' use of the property.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 28, 2022. The Tenant must move out by that date and pay the Landlord $4,911.94 in compensation for use of the unit from July 4, 2021 to December 16, 2021, plus $29.59 per day from December 17, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 28, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
