What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay rent arrears and compensation for undue damages to the rental unit.

The ruling

The Board ordered the Tenants to pay the Landlords $3,900 in rent arrears, $713.94 for damages to the rental unit, and $380 in application filing fees. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by April 10, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
