What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's conduct substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex by the Landlord or another tenant. The Landlord served two N5 notices of termination due to excessive clutter inside and outside the rental unit, which presented a fire and safety hazard.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by February 5, 2022. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $22.59 per day for compensation for the use of the unit from January 26, 2022 to the date the Tenant moves out, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing by February 5, 2022, the Tenant will start to owe interest.
