Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued on February 5, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,483.29 (less any amount paid after the application was filed) plus $27.36 per day starting April 1, 2020 until the Tenant vacates the unit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 15, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
