What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant wilfully causing undue damage to the premises and seriously impairing the safety of any person.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective April 27, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the unit by that date and pay the Landlord $175 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay by April 27, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance starting April 28, 2021. If the unit is not vacated by April 27, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting April 28, 2021.
