What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant's failure to meet a condition specified in the mediated settlement issued by the Board on February 3, 2020 with respect to a previous application.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by August 24, 2020. The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $5,059.28, which represents the rent owing up to August 13, 2020, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenant shall also pay the Landlord $46.03 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting August 14, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by August 24, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
