What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlords require possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation by them. The Landlords also claimed compensation for each day the Tenant remained in the unit after the termination date.

The ruling

The application is dismissed. The Landlords have not established that they in good faith require possession of the rental unit for purposes of residential occupation as required by section 48 of the Act.
