What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The Landlord failed to give the Tenant a valid N4 Notice, so the Landlord decided to pursue an arrears only order.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $7,836, which includes rent arrears up to November 30, 2022 and the application filing costs. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 28, 2022, the Tenant will start owing interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
