What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order to pay the rent arrears and the lawful rent for March 2020.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective August 4, 2020. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $2,900 in rent arrears and application fee, plus $23.67 per day in compensation starting April 1, 2020 until the Tenant moves out. If the full amount is not paid by August 15, 2020, the Tenant will owe interest at 3% annually on the outstanding balance.
