What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants because the Tenants entered into an agreement to terminate the tenancy but did not move out by the agreed upon date.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2023. The Tenants must vacate the rental unit by this date. If they do not, the Landlords can file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction starting March 1, 2023. The Tenants must pay the Landlords $186.00 for the application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay by February 28, 2023, they will owe interest starting March 1, 2023 at 5% annually on the outstanding balance.
