What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board on June 7, 2021 with respect to application CEL-96847-20.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective December 4, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $3,282.41 for rent arrears and application fees, plus $47.67 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting November 24, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 4, 2021, the Tenant will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
