What happened

Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to the Tenant, another occupant, or someone the Tenant permitted, wilfully or negligently causing undue damage to the premises. The Landlords also applied for an order requiring the Tenant to compensate them for the damage.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlords $650 for the cost to replace the bedroom door and $186 for the Landlords' application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 24, 2021, they will start owing simple interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
