What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to Tenant substantially interfering with the reasonable enjoyment or lawful right, privilege or interest of the Landlord or another tenant, committing an illegal act, and seriously impairing the safety of any person in the residential complex.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective November 15, 2022. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $1,836.31, which includes compensation for use and occupation of the unit and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 15, 2022, they will owe interest at 4% annually on the outstanding balance.
