What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent as per the previous LTB order. The Tenant did not meet the conditions specified in the previous order.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 31, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlords $1,665.94, which includes rent arrears up to July 20, 2023 and the cost of the previous application, less the rent deposit and interest. The Tenant must also pay $22.93 per day in compensation for use of the unit starting July 21, 2023 until the Tenant moves out.
