What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants vacated the rental unit on March 31, 2021 but did not pay the full rent for the period from January 1, 2021 to March 31, 2021.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlords $2,280.00, which represents the amount of rent owing up to March 31, 2021. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by November 29, 2021, they will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
