What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on February 28, 2021 and did not pay the total rent the Tenant was required to pay for the period from December 1, 2020 to February 28, 2021.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $5,517.00 in rent arrears and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by November 28, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
