What happened
Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's alleged behavior that seriously impaired the safety of other tenants, including banging on walls, shouting, disturbing other tenants, burning food unsupervised, and removing batteries from smoke detectors.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 3, 2021. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by that date and pay the Landlord $1,449.15, which includes compensation for use of the unit and the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by July 3, 2021, they will owe interest starting July 4, 2021, and the Landlord can file the order for enforcement of the eviction.
