What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant because the Landlord requires possession of the rental unit for the purpose of residential occupation.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 31, 2021. If the Tenant fails to move out by that date, the Tenant must pay the Landlord $39.45 per day for use of the unit starting June 1, 2021 until the Tenant moves out. The Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office to enforce the eviction on or after June 1, 2021.
