What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Tenant owed significant rent arrears and had only made one rent payment in 12 months of occupancy.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. If not voided, the Tenant must vacate by December 6, 2022, and pay $27,675.44 plus $96.99 per day from November 11, 2022, until move-out. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting December 7, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
