The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $11,723.09, which represents the arrears of rent ($13,200.00) and costs ($190.00) outstanding for the period ending August 31, 2020, less the last month's rent deposit ($1,650.00) and the interest owing to the Tenants on the deposit ($16.91). If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owing by September 19, 2020, they will start to owe simple interest calculated from September 20, 2020 at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
