What happened

Landlords applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to non-payment of rent. Tenants applied for an order determining that the Landlords failed to repair or maintain the rental unit or complex, and that the Landlords illegally entered the unit, changed locks, substantially interfered with their reasonable enjoyment, and harassed them.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords $15,870 in rent arrears and $140 in application fees. If the full amount is not paid by June 10, 2017, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
