What happened
Landlords applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective March 30, 2021. Tenants must pay Landlords $4,345.44 (less any amount paid after February 10, 2021) by March 30, 2021, representing rent arrears and application fee, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. Tenants must also pay $82.19 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting March 20, 2021 until they move out. If full amount is not paid by March 30, 2021, Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
