What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective March 31, 2021. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $25,000 in arrears. If the Tenant does not vacate by March 31, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office for eviction. The Tenant will owe 2% annual interest on the outstanding balance if not paid by March 31, 2021.
