What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The Tenants had not paid $6,900 of the total rent owed from December 1, 2019 to October 31, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenants shall pay the Landlord $7,075, which represents the amount of rent owing up to October 31, 2020 and the cost of filing the application, according to a payment schedule. If the Tenants fail to make any one of the payments, the outstanding balance shall become immediately due and owing, and the Landlord may apply to the Board for an order terminating the tenancy and evicting the Tenants.
