What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to persistent late payment of rent. The Landlord also claimed compensation for each day the Tenants remained in the unit after the termination date.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective January 31, 2022. Tenants must vacate by March 31, 2022, and pay $1,397.07 for use of the unit from February 1 to March 15, 2022, plus $32.49 per day thereafter until they move out. If not vacated by March 31, 2022, the Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting April 1, 2022.
