What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenant failed to meet the conditions specified in a previous LTB order, including paying $900 towards arrears and the November 2022 rent.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 14, 2023. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $8,381.53 in rent arrears and compensation, less any payments made after the application was filed. If the unit is not vacated by February 14, 2023, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff for enforcement.
