What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict the Tenant due to the Tenant's conduct of physically fighting with other individuals in the common areas of the rental unit and threatening individuals, which substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the residential complex. The Landlord also alleged that the Tenant was overcrowding the rental unit.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenant must move out by March 31, 2022. If the unit is vacated by February 28, 2022, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) to enforce the eviction on or after April 1, 2022. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $186.00 for the application filing costs. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by March 31, 2022, they will owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance starting April 1, 2022.
