What happened
Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques. Tenant did not attend the hearing.
The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective February 8, 2022, unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $4,326.75 for rent arrears, compensation, and NSF charges, plus $38.24 per day from January 29, 2022, until move-out. The Tenant can void the eviction by paying $5,740.63 by January 31, 2022, or $6,903.90 by February 8, 2022.
