What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. Landlord also claimed charges related to NSF cheques. Tenant was given an opportunity to void the eviction order by paying the arrears.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying the specified amounts. The Tenant must pay $13,792.12 by October 31, 2022, or $15,150.05 by November 30, 2022, to void the order. If the Tenant does not void the order, they must move out by November 30, 2022, and pay $11,544.93 plus $44.64 per day from October 12, 2022, until they move out.
