What happened

The ruling
The tenancy is terminated effective July 24, 2021. The tenants are ordered to pay $18,279.80 to the landlord, which includes rent arrears up to July 13, 2021, the cost of filing the application, and NSF cheque charges, minus the rent deposit and interest on the deposit. If the full amount is not paid by July 24, 2021, the tenants will owe additional daily compensation and interest on the outstanding balance.
