What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to their failure to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board. The condition was to reduce the number of cats in the rental unit to 3 by September 30, 2021, but the Tenants failed to do so.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated, and the Tenants must move out by December 18, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $3,882.00 for compensation for damage, plus $35.63 per day for compensation for the use of the unit starting December 8, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by December 18, 2021, they will owe interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
