What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The tenancy was terminated effective July 31, 2021, the date the Tenant vacated the rental unit. The Tenant is ordered to pay the Landlord $4,038.35 in rent arrears, $20.00 in NSF cheque administration charges, and $201.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by December 10, 2021, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
