What happened

Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Landlord also claimed administration charges related to NSF cheques.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $1,363.88, which represents the arrears of rent, NSF charges, and costs outstanding for the period ending December 31, 2019, less the last month's rent deposit. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 15, 2020, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest at 2.00% annually on the outstanding balance.
