What happened
Landlord applied for an order requiring Tenant to pay the rent that the Tenant owes. The Tenant vacated the rental unit on September 30, 2021, prior to the hearing date.
The ruling
The Tenant shall pay the Landlord $140.60, which is the balance of the filing fee after the last month's rent deposit and interest are applied. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by February 1, 2022, the Tenant will start owing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
