The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 23, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $6,324.54, representing the rent arrears and related application fees, less the rent deposit and interest owed on the deposit. The Tenants must also pay $40.26 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting August 13, 2020 until they vacate. If the full amount is not paid by August 23, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
