What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective August 15, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $2,042.68 (less any amount paid after the application was filed), plus $43.28 per day starting April 1, 2020 until they vacate the unit. If the full amount is not paid by August 15, 2020, the Tenants will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
