What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to pay rent and meet conditions specified in a previous LTB order. The Tenant failed to pay full $750.00 towards arrears by October 1, 2022, and failed to pay full monthly rent for October 2022 by October 15, 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 10, 2023. The Tenant must pay $22,865.64 plus $69.04 per day starting January 31, 2023, until they vacate the unit. If the Tenant does not move out by February 10, 2023, the Landlord can file this order with the Sheriff for enforcement starting February 11, 2023.
