What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent and for causing undue damage to the rental unit and residential complex. The Landlord served valid N4 and N5 notices, which the tenants did not void.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 25, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $10,972.59 in rent arrears and compensation, plus $31.56 per day starting September 15, 2021 until they vacate the unit. The Tenants must also pay $1,250 for the cost of repairing damage to the unit. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by September 25, 2021, the Landlord may file the order with the Sheriff to enforce the eviction.
