What happened

Landlords applied for an order requiring Tenants to pay the rent they owed. The Tenants were in possession of the rental unit on the date the application was filed and did not pay the full rent for the period from April 1, 2021 to October 31, 2021. The Tenants paid $12,000 after the application was filed.

The ruling

The Tenants are ordered to pay the Landlords the remaining $101 of the Landlords' application filing fee. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount owed by November 30, 2021, they will start accruing interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
