What happened

Tenants applied for an order determining that Landlords harassed, obstructed, coerced, threatened or interfered with them and substantially interfered with the reasonable enjoyment of the rental unit or residential complex. The issues included garbage in the backyard, a car parked in the driveway, utility bills, and air conditioning.

The ruling

The Landlords shall pay the Tenants $200 as a rent abatement for substantially interfering with their reasonable enjoyment due to the garbage issue, and an additional $48 for the cost of filing the application, for a total of $248.
