What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Landlord is no longer asking for termination and eviction, having sold the residential complex containing this unit, effective November 30, 2020.

The ruling

The Tenant shall pay to the Landlord $3,180.00, which represents the amount of rent owing to November 30, 2020, and $186.00 for the cost of filing the application. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount owing on or before July 30, 2021, the Tenant will start to owe simple interest calculated at 2.00% annually on the balance outstanding.
