What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to non-payment of rent. The Tenant did not attend the hearing despite proper notice. The Landlord's application was amended to reflect a higher payment towards rent for March 2022.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated unless the Tenant voids the order by paying $5,281.00 by October 23, 2022. If not voided, the Tenant must move out by October 23, 2022, and pay $2,597.85 plus $42.58 per day from September 30, 2022, until vacating. The Landlord may file for eviction enforcement starting October 24, 2022, if the unit is not vacated.
