What happened

Landlord applied to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to persistent late payment of rent and undue damage to the rental unit. Landlord served a valid N8 Notice and filed an L2 Application with the LTB.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective September 7, 2021. The Tenant must pay the Landlord $56.81 per day for use of the unit from August 28, 2021 until the Tenant vacates, as well as $186 for the application filing fee. If the Tenant does not pay the full amount by September 7, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
