What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenant due to failure to meet conditions specified in a previous order issued by the Board on October 4, 2021. The Tenant failed to bring the rental unit to a reasonable state of 'ordinary' cleanliness and denied entry to the Landlord for inspection on multiple occasions.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective February 28, 2022. The Tenant must vacate the rental unit by this date. If the unit is not vacated, the Landlord may file the order with the Court Enforcement Office (Sheriff) for eviction enforcement starting March 1, 2022.
