What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent as per the mediated settlement issued by the Board on March 6, 2020.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective October 5, 2020. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $10,845.00 for rent arrears and application fee, plus $30.38 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting September 25, 2020 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by October 5, 2020, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
