What happened

Landlord applied for an order to terminate the tenancy and evict Tenants due to failure to pay rent. The application was filed after the Tenants failed to meet a condition specified in a previous order issued by the Board.

The ruling

The tenancy is terminated effective May 29, 2021. The Tenants must pay the Landlord $11,940.60 plus $32.81 per day for compensation for use of the unit starting May 19, 2021 until the Tenants move out. If the Tenants do not pay the full amount by May 29, 2021, they will owe interest at 2% annually on the outstanding balance.
